Ambulance services in Hillingdon were stretched last week as the heavy weather took its toll.
Paramedics in Hillingdon dealt with 234 incidents in total between last Monday and Wednesday, 68 of which were life-threatening.
Adam Crosby, ambulance operations manager, said: "The extreme weather has placed the service under severe pressure. We have been extremely busy dealing with a full range of call including slips, trips and falls.
"Unfortunately the difficult driving conditions have made it much more difficult for us to get to calls quickly. Side roads in the area have been particularly challenging.
