A man suffered serious injuries after being involved in a collision with a car in Isleworth yesterday (Monday).

London Ambulance Service confirmed it was called around noon to reports of an RTA involving a pedestrian and a vehicle.

The incident happened in Northumberland Avenue, just off Syon Lane, where it joins the busy A4 Great West Road at Gillette Corner.

A single responder car and an ambulance crew were dispatched to the scene, along with London's air ambulance.

Witnesses described seeing the helicopter land in the car park of the nearby Homebase superstore which had to be closed, along with Syon Lane, for a short time.

An LAS spokeswoman told getwestlondon: "The crews treated a man in his thirties at the scene for injuries to his legs and pelvis.

"He was taken as a priority to St Mary's Hospital's major trauma centre.

"This was done by ground ambulance with the doctor from the air ambulance travelling along with the casualty."

Currently we have no update on the victim's condition or whether he is still in hospital.

More information will be posted as soon as we get it.

This was one of two incidents in Hounslow yesterday to involve the air ambulance as a few hours after it happened a teenager was reportedly stabbed in broad daylight.
