A POLICE officer who put an inappropriate comment on his Facebook page has been given words of advice.
DC Stephen MacDonald an allegation of leaving an inappropriate message on the social networking site.
This was considered a breach of the code of conduct set for police officers which necessitated management action.
Chief Inspector Maurice Hartnett reviewed the matter and as a result it was considered to be a minor breach and words of advice were given to the DC MacDonald.
