ADVICE is on offer to residents living near a Hillingdon dispersal zone.

Hillingdon Police officers will be at the Sutton Court Road junction with Snowdon Avenue off Long Lane, Hillingdon, from 6pm tomorrow (Friday).

Hillingdon Police and Hillingdon Council targeted the area for a dispersal order following reports of drug dealing and alcohol related incidents.

The order, which comes into effect tomorrow, lasts from 12.01am-11.59pm until February 22.

To the east of Long Lane the order includes: Long Lane at the junction with Clifton Gardens and up to Windsor Avenue, Sutton Court Road, Snowden Avenue, Oakdene, Burleigh Road, Festival Close, Windsor Avenue, parallel to Cowdray Road and across the sports ground including Home Covert Woods and Swakeleys School playing fields to Clifton Gardens, Wilkinson Close, Woodcroft Crescent, Denecroft Crescent, Leybourne Road.

To the west of Long Lane the order includes: From Sweetcroft Lane junction with Long Lane to Blossom Way, Vine Lane and Court Drive to the junction with Long Lane, Harwood Drive, The Close, Montpelier Close, Stocks Place.

Unaccompanied youths, under the age of 16, may be escorted home by officers if found after 9pm and are involved or at risk from anti-social behaviour.

Anyone who refuses to leave could be fined up to £2,500 or imprisoned.
