TRADERS in Acton still have the chance to enter the Best Dressed Window competition to win £100 worth of commercial rubbish sacks.
The prize is hoped to inspire shopkeepers to get creative to help boost both trade and festive cheer in the run-up to Christmas.
The closing date is next Friday (30) and judging will take place from December 3 to 6. Results will be announced at the Acton Christmas Fair in The Mount on December 8.
The decorative windows must have a winter wonderland theme and those spending an excessive amount of money to make their masterpiece will not be favoured.
Other criteria include overall impact, creativity and effort.
All independent shops in Acton town centre may take part.
Marketing action plans are also up for grabs in the council-run competition.
