A man in his 20s was rushed to hospital after being knocked down by a car on Hanworth Road during the evening rush hour.
The accident on Wednesday (26) happened just before 6pm near the junction of Conway Road.
The male pedestrian was taken as priority to St Mary's Hospital but police said his condition is not expected to be life threatening.
A London Ambulance Service spokeswoman said: "We were called at 5.56pm to reports of a road traffic collision on Hanworth Road.
"We sent one single responder and an ambulance crew to the scene.
"Staff treated one patient reported to be in his 20s. He was taken to St Mary's as priority."
The incident led to major traffic chaos in the area after the busy road was closed in both directions between Powder Mill Lane and Nelson Road.
Diversions were in place for cars and bus routes including 110 and 111.
Hanworth Road was closed for several hours.
