A man and a woman are being hunted by police following a vicious knife attack on a student at Ealing Common Station last month.
These CCTV images have been released as part of an appeal for help, after a 20-year-old man was stabbed in the back in broad daylight near the ticket office.
It is believed the attack involved three men and a woman on Tuesday, September 2 at approximately 2.50pm and the attackers fled the scene before officers arrived.
The British Transport Police are keen to identify and speak to the man and woman in the CCTV images, both of whom were at the station at the time.
Detective Sergeant Anthony Jones, the investigating officer, said: "We have made extensive local enquiries, spoken with witnesses and reviewed CCTV from the station and we are also asking for help from any members of the public who may have seen anything or who may have any information that can assist our investigation.
"We know that the man and woman pictured in the CCTV images were at the station around the time of the incident and we are keen to identify them.
"I'm treating this incident very seriously. This was a vicious attack on a man who was simply making his way to college and I'm asking anyone with any information about this assault, or who recognises the man or woman pictured in the CCTV images, to come forward."
The victim, from Acton, was taken to Central Middlesex Hospital and treated for a wound to his back, but was later discharged.
