NERVOUS students are arriving at high schools and colleges around the borough to collect their A-level results and discover whether they achieved the grades they want.

A total of 295 students at Harrow College received their results today.

The college in Brookshill, Harrow Weald, had a 95 per cent overall pass rate with 57 per cent of the pupils achieving an A to C grade.

Students also achieved a 100 per cent pass rate in further maths, film studies, chemistry, drama and theatre studies, government and politics, graphic communication, history, law, media studies and music technology.

Portfolio holder for children, schools and families at Harrow Council, Councillor Brian Gate, said: “Well done to all Harrow borough students on the hard work that has brought them to A-level results day.

“Harrow has a strong tradition of excellent education. Great credit is due to the dedication of teachers and staff at all of our high schools as well as parents and carers in the borough.”

We will be posting A-level results from the borough’s sixth form colleges throughout the day, so keep checking here for more updates.
