Douay Martyrs School in Ickenham has maintained its high standards for A-Level results.

The pass rate of the school was 99.6 per cent for the second year running with 78.3 per cent of pupils getting an A*-C grade.

Deputy headteacher David Lewis said: "These are a very good set of results and are continuing the upward trend for Douay Martyrs.

"We have had some exceptional individual results for students and there have been a lot of happy faces this morning."
