The shorlisted improvement projects are Ickenham Hall in Glebe Avenue, Ickenham, pictured ; Long Drive Park Playground in Long Drive, South Ruislip; the public car park in King's College Road, Ruislip; Harefield Village Green Playground in Rickmansworth Road, Harefield; and the 6th Eastcote Scout Hut in Oak Grove, Eastcote.
People voted online and in borough libraries and the winner will be announced when all the votes have been counted.
The People's Choice award is a Hillingdon Council scheme to give funding to an environmental or community project on council land, paid for out of the ouncil's Chrysalis regeneration fund and voted for by you.
Voting will now be held in other areas of the borough over the coming months, and you can nominate a community project near you to receive funding by going to the Hillingdon Council website, www.hillingdon.gov.uk and follow the Feel Proud links in the residents' section.
