I WISH to add my support in last week's Observer to the letter from A and J Solomon expressing concern at the Government's intention to use private companies to run GP surgeries called polyclinics and run down NHS hospitals.
I can remember the poverty of the 1930s when our parents could not afford to see a doctor and had to ask the local chemist to advise us on medication.
It is the 60th anniversary of the NHS and the people of this country will not allow private companies, whose only concern is profit, to take over our NHS.
We need to write to our MPs to stop this privatisation of our NHS.
