A teenager was taken to hospital after being stabbed in the leg outside the Kwik Fit garage in Hatch End.

The incident took place last night, (Monday, November 10), police were called to Grimsdyke Road in Hatch End to reports that a 16 year-old man was stabbed in the leg at approximately 6.40pm.

He was taken to a west London hospital with his injury which is not life threatening.

A local worker said: "We were closed when it happened so I don't know any details other than what one of the neighbours told me this morning, which was that someone got stabbed and it was between two rivals. Apparently someone was stabbed in the side."

A waiter at the Fellini restaurant in Uxbridge Road, Hatch End said: "I didn't see anything as it was a really busy night for us, but there were police who blocked everything off."

A police spokeswoman said that no arrests have been made and inquiries continue, they are appealing for any witnesses to the incident to call them on 101.
