POLKA DOTS were the order of the day at Harefield Junior School which celebrated Children In Need on Friday.

Children dressed in spotty clothes, inspired by the bandana worn by the charity’s mascot, Pudsey the Bear, and also took in their own teddies.

The highlight of the day was a mass ‘sponsored skip’ in which 20 youngsters jumped an extra long rope together while their classmates skipped around them on individual ropes.

Children donated 10p to take part in the skipping and £1 to come in non uniform.
