A four-year-old boy was taken to hospital after a collision with a car in Hayes on Thursday morning (June 23).

Met police said they were called to Hemmen Lane at 12.10pm following reports of a road traffic collision.

A police spokesperson said the collision involved a four-year-old boy and a car.

Officers said the London Ambulance Service (LAS) also attended and the boy was taken to a west London hospital with minor injuries.

Police said that no arrests have been made.

A child also escaped minor injuries in a collision in Southall last Thursday (June 16), which left a woman in hospital with head injuries.

Both pedestrians were in Fagg's Road when they were hit by the car at just after 8.30am.

Roads in the area were closed while the police and paramedics dealt with the incident.
