Now, you can try it for yourself at a new class in Hayes, and learn how to develop your strength, stability and flexibility.

Recently qualified instructor Karen Bans is running a free Hatha Yoga taster session on Sunday, in which she will teach some simple postures and breath control and explain the importance of a mind, body and spirit harmony.

Comedians descend on bunker to try out gags

Have a laugh when comedians visit Ruislip to test out their material in front of a live audience.

Alun Cochrane, Gary Delaney (husband of Sarah Millican) and Ahir Shar will be at the Comedy Bunker on Friday.

Cochrane and Delaney have been seen on TV shows such as Michael McIntyre’s Comedy Roadshow, Eight Out of Ten Cats, Mock The Week and Live At The Comedy Store and up-and-coming Shar enjoyed a successful run at the Edinburgh Fringe last year.

Second chance to see blockbuster Life of Pi

If you missed Oscar-winning blockbuster Life of Pi at the cinema, now is your chance to catch up with the film.

A screening is being held at St Edmund’s Church Hall, Northwood Hills, where visitors can enjoy a fish and chip supper before the movie.

Based on the 2012 book by Yann Martel and directed by Ang Lee, the film tells the story of 16-year-old Pi, who finds himself stranded at sea in a lifeboat after a cargo ship sinks, with only a tiger for company.
