Memphis barbeque food will be dished up at a new restaurant opening in Chelsea .

The fifth branch of Porky’s BBQ will welcome hungry diners in Fulham Road from March 3, and is known for its massive plates of ribs and tips and 18 hour smoked pulled pork.

It also serves up a menu of Memphis-inspired cocktails, bourbons and a selection of craft beers to wash down the food.

The chain opened its first restaurant in Camden in 2013. The new Porky’s BBQ will seat up to 50 people and feature exposed brickwork and skylight to allow light to pour in to the restaurant.

Owner Simon Brigg said: “This site has a completely different personality to the rest. The area offers a great cluster of high-end coffee shops, local delis and pubs – we hope to add to the mix with our fun loving breed of barbeque food that the entire family will enjoy.

"We’re a family run business and we love the feel of this area.”

Wednesday night’s at the restaurant will also include Porky’s Man vs. Rib challenge, giving diners the chance to a Porky’s t-shirt, free meal for two and a place on the prestigious leaderboard.
