Prologis plans to apply by mid-April for permission to build six warehouse/office buildings in Dawley Road, Hayes.
Each would have a floorspace of between 5,000 and 50,000sq ft, together totalling around 115,000sq ft, and would likely be leased to relatively small local businesses.
The site, which has been vacant for almost a decade and was bought by the company last year, would become known as Prologis Dawley Road.
Prologis senior vice president Paul Weston said that, if granted planning permission, his company could begin work as soon as August, finishing in summer next year.
He said: “It’s going to bring a high quality product. It’s going to bring jobs and regenerate a site that’s been pretty much derelict, or vacant, for the best part of 10 years.”
Meanwhile, the company has now lodged plans to build a £75m business park, to be named Prologis Park West London, next to the existing Stockley Park, creating up to 650 jobs.
The submitted plans involve erecting two industrial/distribution units on the land, flanked by Iron Bridge Road North and Horton Road, in West Drayton, with a combined floorspace of around 215,000sq ft.
Mr Weston said the company had already received strong interest in the proposed units, but would not say who from.
Prologis has also submitted an application for outline planning permission to build up to three extra units on the same site.
As part of the overall plans, the company would develop five parcels of land nearby, turning them into public green spaces.
The plans also involve landscaping around the site and alongside the nearby canal, as well as creating a new pedestrian and cycle towpath from Horton Road.
The plans went on display at a public exhibition in February.
Mr Weston said that of 101 people who attended, 28 filled out feedback forms, with 92% supporting the proposals.
He said that, if granted planning permission, work could begin in September and end in June next year.
He added: “We were delighted to have such positive feedback. It was good to be able to put people’s minds at rest.”
Meanwhile, the company has now leased one of two newly-built units at its Prologis Park Heathrow site, off Stockley Road, in West Drayton, to chilled food manufacturer Adelie Foods Group Ltd.
