A new Tesco Express store is opening in Fulham bringing with it 22 new jobs .

The store will begin trading in Parr’s Way on February 23, when it will present a cheque to present a £500 cheque to Imperial College Healthcare Charity as part of its commitment to supporting the local area.

All vacancies were filled by people from the Fuham area in a bid to bring a community feel to the store.

Store manager Geoff Martin said he was delighted to give money to the charity, which raises money to improve patient experience at the five London hospitals of Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust, including the store’s local hospital Charing Cross .

He said: “We are really pleased that they are coming to launch the new store and join in the celebrations with us. My new team and I are looking forward to offering shoppers a clean bright and spacious new store with fast and friendly service.”

The store opens its doors to customers at 10am, and will open seven days a week 7am - 10pm.

It will include a free cash machine, self-service tills, Click & Collect, mobile phone top-up facility, National Lottery counter and Costa Coffee facilities.
