Home retailer HomeSense has opened its first store in South Harrow, creating 50 new jobs in the area.

Situated at Northolt Road Retail Park, the brand new store opened its doors at 10am on Thursday (September 10), providing over 16,376sq-ft of branded homeware.

A spokesman for HomeSense said: “We are delighted to be opening our first store in South Harrow, which will be our 35th in the UK, and to be creating 50 new jobs within the local community.”

To mark the store launch, Mayor of Harrow Cllr Krishna Suresh conducted a ribbon opening to declare the store officially open.

The new store will hold a range of different items for every room of the home – including kitchen and gourmet cookware, furniture and lighting, decorative items, wall art, bedding and bathroom accessories, gifts and seasonal décor.

Frequent deliveries to store will ensure thousands of new items each week, so customers will always be able to discover something unique, every time they visit, with around 50,000 items to be found in store.
