A Budgens franchisee is inviting local food suppliers to display their wares at his store in Fulham.
Bruce Hodgson is holding a Food Fair outside his store in Munster Road on June 7. It will be a chance for independent food producers to sell their products and customers will vote for their favourites by putting a marble in a jar.
An overall winner with the most marbles will then go on to have their products sold in Budgens of Fulham. To take part contenders will need a valid quality and hygiene certificate, and available product specifications.
Mr Hodgson spent 15 years working for Burger King Corporation as Franchise Development Director International.
He said: "As a retailer, I’ve become scarily familiar with the food market over the years, and there are some fantastic unique products on the doorstep of Budgens of Fulham, and I believe that sharing these with our customers will make our store stand out and drive footfall."
