British company Open Capacity want to use real-time data about carriage weight to determine where the fewest people are sat so commuters don't have to search for a seat.

Working with universities, such as University College London, and organisations including Pedestrian Accessibility and Movement Environment Laboratory has progressed their development and the company are determined to make the app a reality.
