What is your business?

We are a restaurant that is inspired by traditional Japanese Ramen noodle bars & Asian flavours. Wagamama is an award winning series of restaurants that are spread over 17 countries.

What is your best/biggest seller?

Our biggest sellers are the Chicken Katsu Curry and the Waga Ramen, which is a soup with everything in. It’s lovely, it’s got pork, chicken and seafood in. Also our dumplings, the gyozas are incredibly popular.

How long have you been in Hammersmith?

We’ve been open in Hammersmith for 7 month. The site used to be a pub and before that a fire station. In fact, as this is a very historic building, with a very unique design, we’ve given it a very chic look, which is quite different to other Wagamamas.

When are you at your busiest?

Friday lunchtimes are definitely when we’re at our busiest. We’re hoping to increase our weekend trade, we’d love to see more residents and families come in.

Tell us an interesting fact about yourself or the business?

To celebrate the heritage of the building we’re changing our name to Wagamama the Old Fire Station. Next month we will be celebrating 100 years of the building in Hammersmith so we will be organising a week of events, around April 30. The staff will be dressing up as firemen and we’ll be telling customers the history of the building. It should be really fun.

Who are your typical customers?

We have the workers and commuters but we’ve also got the cocktail lovers. We’re the only Wagamama in London that has a special cocktail bar, so we get quite a lot of people coming in here to enjoy a nice after work drink.

What’s your unique selling point?

I would say it’s the service style and the site itself. The building is quite iconic and well known in Hammersmith, we’re a large premises and we’ve got a great outside section so we’re quite a unique Wagamama.
