What is your business?

Our business is providing sight testing, spectacles, contact lenses and hearing aids to the customers, so it is a combined medical and retail business.

What your best/biggest seller?

Our main sellers are frames and optical lenses, that includes a wide variety of designer brands such as Boss Orange, Karen Millan, Timberland, Cheap Monday, Replay and Osiris.

How long have you been in Hammersmith?

I opened the store 15 years ago and in that time the town has changed so much. When we first cut the ribbon, there was no Lyric Square, it’s odd to think about it now, but Hammersmith has changed so much in that time. The shops now are really nice and it’s become a more attractive destination.

When are you at your busiest?

We tend to be busiest during lunchtimes so between 12 and 2pm.

Tell us an interesting fact about yourself or the business?

We are a community optician as we work with the local council and schools to provide a fantastic customer journey. When a sight test is carried out we not only check for the prescription but also for the health of the eyes. We also provide free retinal photography.

Who are your typical customers?

Our customers vary from a child of 5-years-old to an adult of over 90. Our customers are from all different cultures and ages. We have a team which speaks a variety of languages and that has always been welcomed by the customers
