A Birmingham-based pan Asian eatery chain Chop and Wok is to open its first store in London by early November.

The new store in Margaret Street, Westminster, will be the brand's sixth and also its new flagship store.

It is promising to embrace technology - with in-store iPads for customers to use - and be more geared to the 'fast paced London scene with an ultra-modern store design. Around 20 new jobs will be created between the store and its Birmingham Head Office.

Director Aman Bhandal is actively on the lookout for further locations across London.

He said: "We are unbelievably excited to bring Chop and Wok to Londoners. We feel that London’s trendy, fast paced environment is the perfect match for our quirky, 'new-age' concept. Our hopes are that we can replicate the success we’ve had in Birmingham by continuing to inject innovation and fun into both our food and the dining experience we provide, and we sincerely hope that it will be received well."

Mr Bhandal is Birmingham born, and launched the brand four years ago, aged just 24. Since its launch, this quirky noodle bar has exploded across Birmingham and earned its director the 2012 Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award, by the Black Country Asian Business Association (BCABA).

Chop and Wok is described as a pan-Asian food place set in a new age and conceptual environment, with an Asian fusion menu. Its principles are to provide 'fresh, tasty and healthy food, whilst giving the customer a new age experience during the process'.

The food is served in an electric-coloured customer area and the menu encompasses Chinese, Thai, Malay, Japanese and Indian flavours, with a large range of pan Asian grab-and-go options including healthy and salads, wraps and sushi.

The dishes contain only natural ingredients and all sauces are original recipes that are unique to Chop and Wok.
