Wimbledon fever is well and truly in the air; big screens have been set up all over west London, the weather has been beautiful (which unfortunately was bad news for one poor ball boy!), strawberries and cream have been served, and best of all... British tennis hero Andy Murray is still in the tournament, having made it to the semi-finals!
And no place feels more excited about the legendary championships than Wimbledon Village, where the annual tournament is held.
Not only do plenty of pubs and bars in the area have special offers and live screenings, but local businesses and shops have decorated beautifully for the occasion.
One staff member at The Wimbledon Village Osteopath even told getwestlondon that they had seen one of the talented athletes through their doors, though they kept exactly which star it was a secret!
Laura, a staff member at Gardenia flower shop in Wimbledon Village, said: "We've been very busy for the last two weeks!"
Natasha, a volunteer at Oxfam, said: "The shop was much busier than usual during the first week, the weather has been beautiful as well."
Mohammad, a local of the Wimbledon area, said: "I love being in Wimbledon Village during the tournament, especially when the sun is out. I really feel like I am part of something very special.
"I know somebody who queued up to get into the grounds from four in the morning... That's how dedicated people are to the tennis."
