I HAD a great time with local mum and DJ Karen Moore when I was her guest on local community radio station Hayes FM last week.
Despite worrying I wouldn't have enough to talk about, she couldn't shut me up and we had a good natter about all things to do with being a mum and living in Hillingdon.
Her show is a good mix of music, chat, guests and family issues and is well worth tuning into every Thursday morning from 10am to noon on 91.8 Hayes FM. I'm going to be her guest at 10.30am for half an hour on the first Thursday of every month.
I'm delighted to announce that the Winter edition of Sunshine is finally hitting the streets of Hillingdon this week. Despite untold computer problems I have finally got it off to press!
For the uninitiated, Sunshine is the free local community magazine for families living in Hillingdon that I edit.
This issue is packed with loads of must-read articles for families with children under eleven, including all of the what's on events and activities going on for local families right up until February.
Amanda from Amanda's Action Kids and her daughter Bibi are on the front cover of this issue and many local mums will recognize her from the classes and parties that she runs locally.
One of the best things about the winter edition of Sunshine is our VIP Charity Pantomime experience that takes place at the Beck Theatre, Hayes on Friday, December 19.
Tickets have just gone on sale costing £12.50 each instead of the usual £16.50/£20 per person.
What's more on this special day there is loads of fun entertainment and a free activity pack for all the children.
There's free face-painting, balloon modelling and magic going on from 1pm, during the interval and after the show, and the best thing is that some of the cast come out and meet the children after the show for photos and autographs. The Beck panto has become a Christmas tradition for the Ranson family and friends and everyone takes part from Alex's almost-90-year-old Great Gran down!
To find out more and to book, pick up a copy of the latest Sunshine magazine all over Hillingdon, or call the Hillingdon Council's Families' Information Service freephone number - 0800 073 4800 - and they will post you one.
I always think a panto isn't a proper panto without the chance to shout out 'It's behind you!' and pantos at The Beck always have lots of chances to join in, sing and shout a lot!
