A property developer has announced plans for a £24m scheme which will bring 50 new luxury homes to Acton.

Privately-owned Mizen Group has acquired a development site at the junction of East Acton Lane and the Vale which has consent for a new development of homes overlooking Acton Park.

Construction works on the five-storey project with one, two, three-bedroom and penthouse apartments on the site of the Old Kings Arms is set to start in May and is scheduled to be finished in the autumn of 2016.

Prices are expected to start from £400,000 for one-bedroom apartments.

Alan Tansey, director at Mizen Group, said: “Acton is fast becoming one of west London’s most sought after postcodes for young professionals and families looking for excellent transport links and amenities without the premium price tag of neighbouring areas such as Chiswick, Hammersmith and Ealing.”

This new development will be less than a mile from the huge regeneration project planned at Old Oak, which is to include a major transport hub linking Crossrail and HS2 terminals.

Barry Tansey, CEO of Mizen Group, said: “Demand for property in W3 is firmly on the up. Acton Park and the village type feel of Churchfield Road are just a stones throw from the development.

"We are looking forward to creating a sustainable, high quality residential product in what is one of Acton’s most sought after locations. We expect strong demand for the development from a range of buyers.”

Mizen Group have appointed Blueprint Estates as sales and marketing agents for the scheme.
