Who's got a pet then? More than one? Several?

We're a nation of animal lovers and that's no better illustrated than in the affection we shower onto our household pets.

Now we want to celebrate that by finding out about YOUR pets.

Does your dog sleep in your bed? Does your cat nuzzle you awake each morning? Does your parrot copy your swearing? Do they pose and perform for the camera?

So from the Great Dane all the way down to guinea pigs, we'd love to hear your stories and see your photos and video!

Here are the ways to get in touch. You can email us via surreylive@trinitymirror.com, post on our Facebook page or tweet to @getwestlondon.

Double act

Connie and Arthur belong to another one of our reporters, Isabel Dobinson.

We got the pair from the local cat and dog shelter and from the get-go Connie (nearest to the camera) was always a bit of a fail,” she said,

One time we were eating dinner and heard a loud bang - it turned out she had tried to follow her brother through the cat flap and completely missed it, crashing into the door.

While Arthur is naughty, mischievous and always rooting around in the garden, Connie prefers to stay indoors, hence her rather large physique. Her large belly does provide a good pillow when you’re watching TV!”

He is now mine forever

Rogue the cat belongs to one of our reporters, Shona Duthie, who said:

I named her Rogue after Rogue in X Men and funnily enough she lives up to her name!

She decided to sleep with the penguin one evening and the rest is history.

People still mistake her for a kitten because she is to tiny but don’t mess with her she attacked a staffi once by jumping on it’s back. Super power.”

Little tiny mink!

Who’s this little fella!?

Get West London What’s On writer Connie Rusk got a surprise in the office car park this afternoon when two naughty minks (we think - could be a ferret) decided to have a fight... real or not who knows?

We caught this chap on camera just before he scurried off to cause more trouble.

Bertie the black cat

Sue Pink sent us this photo of her cat, Bertie, who is two years old.

Bertie is “the most loyal cat” she has ever had and Sue got her as a therapy cat for her son Daniel who has autism. She said:

Even from a kitten she knew my son was special and had routines that he had to follow for bedtime, so every night when he goes to bed and after he does his nightly rituals she will then follow him to bed and he would then give her a gentle stroke before falling asleep.

She will sit in the window waiting for him to come home from school, but is also loyal to the hand that feeds her.

She is very scatty as well, she has a favourite teddy bear which she carries around and likes to play fetch with it.”

This is my cockapoo puppy Luna who lives with me in Haslemere.

She is just the most adorable little dog, she has her hyper moments but also loves sleeping on the sofa with her toy monkey.

She gets so much attention when we walk around town - I’ve been into shops on numerous occasions when people are disappointed that I’m not with her - she’s becoming a bit of a Haslemere celebrity.

She has an extraordinary ability to destroy things in seconds - she’s bitten through my debit card, phone charger and laptop charger within the last week alone!”

Derek deserves a loving owner and home

Name: Derek

Age: Six-year-old

Type: Lurcher

Who could resist Derek’s cheeky, infectious grin? Derek is a beautiful Lurcher with a playful personality.

He came into Old Windsor as a stray and when he arrived he was filthy, with bad skin and a nasty wound on his foreleg.

But - with a few baths and a bit of TLC from Battersea’s vets - Derek has made a full recovery and his true, giggly nature soon shone through.

He loves people, but can still be a bit shy at first around other dogs, so he’s looking for a family who are willing to work to help him build up his canine confidence.

Derek is looking for a home away from the hustle and bustle of the city, with active owners and a garden where he can zoom around to his heart’s content.

Could you be the one to bring a smile to Derek’s face?

Could you love this adorable pair?

Name: Eddie and Serena

Age: Four-years-old

Type: Greyhounds

Smiley Serena and enthusiastic Eddie are looking for a home together, with owners who have some understanding of ex-racing Greyhounds and their needs.

The duo have been at Battersea Old Windsor for almost two months now and they’ve become firm favourites with everyone at the centre.

Eddie is a funny, affectionate boy who enjoys the company of both people and dogs.

He loves food more than anything, except perhaps his best friend Serena. She’s a bouncy, affectionate girl who loves jumping up to give kisses.

Serena loves to lean on people for a fuss and cuddle.

Pepsi needs to find some love!

Name: Pepsi

Age: 13-year-old

Colour: Black

Type: Domestic Shorthair

Pepsi was brought to Battersea’s Old Windsor centre through no fault of her own, when her owner fell ill and sadly could no longer give her the attention and care needed.

She is a sweet lady who is looking for her furr-ever home where she can spend the rest of her days in peace and happiness being spoilt and pampered.

At 13, Pepsi is an older lady, but you wouldn’t guess when you meet her!

She’s a playful and inquisitive girl who enjoys being around people and she loves strokes and lap-time cuddles.

Pepsi is sweet lady and a great character, she has lots to offer and just needs a little time to settle before showing her true bubbly, happy-go-lucky nature.
