The new cricket season is almost upon us and to mark the occasion, we have teamed up with Middlesex County Cricket Club to offer five pairs of tickets for Middlesex's opening fixture of their 2009 Friends Provident Trophy campaign against Scotland.

There should be an excellent atmosphere at Lord's for the 50-overs-a-side match on Sunday, April 26.

Middlesex have designated the fixture a Friends Provident Club Day event and alongside the obvious excitement of the action out on the famous Lord's square, Middlesex have laid on a host of fun activities around the ground to entertain spectators - including the chance for all U16s to compete in a cricket skills competition held at the nursery ground, with prizes and trophies at stake which will be, presented to them by one of the Middlesex stars.

To enter this fabulous competition and stand a chance of winning one of the five pairs of tickets, simply answer the following: Which trophy did Middlesex win last year? a/ The Forty40 b/ The Fifty50 or c/ The Twenty20?
Please include your full name, address and phone number to: sport@ealinggazette.co.uk. Mark all entries Scotland Cricket Competition. Closing date: Thursday (16th) 1pm.

For those of you not lucky enough to win competition tickets, you can still go along and enjoy all the fun, as entry is available on the day,
