Westminster and Hammersmith and Fulham have some of the highest proportions of thirtysomethings in London.

People aged 30 to 39 make up almost one quarter of the entire population in Westminster , with 22 per cent of the borough’s inhabitants in the age range.

Hammersmith and Fulham is not far behind with 21.4 per cent and Kensington and Chelsea has 20.2 per cent aged 30 to 39.

All three boroughs beat the UK average of 12.9 per cent but Wandsworth is the place to be if you are of that age, with 24.2 per cent of its population 30 to 39-years-old followed by Tower Hamlets with 22.6 per cent and Hackney with 22.4 per cent.

Rural West Somerset had the least number of people in their thirties, with just 7.5 per cent and 31.2 per cent aged 65 or older making it the pensioner capital of Britain.
