The picture is patchy ahead of tomorrow's industrial action by members of the NASUWT and NUT teaching unions.

Of the 63 schools maintained by Hillingdon Council, only 30 responded to requests for information about whether they would be open, closed or accommodating limited numbers of pupils for the day - and the council says it cannot release names under confidentiality procedures.

The numbers at 4pm today (Wednesday) are: 12 schools will remain open

12 schools will be partially open

Six schools will be closed

Parents and guardians are advised to check with individual schools for the most up-to-date information.

The Gazette will update this information when possible
