A young girl has been rushed to hospital after a road accident in West End Road, Ruislip, earlier this afternoon (Thursday).
Paramedics also treated a man and a woman following the collision on the A4180, near the junction with Torrington Road at around 1.15pm.
Callers to the Gazette say traffic is at a standstill in West End Road (4.40pm).
Police were not able to confirm the girl's age, but say that the injuries sustained are not life threatening or life-changing.
A Mercedes A Class and a Vauxhall Astra, both silver, were involved, with the latter vehicle being flipped onto its roof.
There are severe delays, and the road has been closed and traffic diverted.
A London Ambulance Service spokeswoman said: "We sent a single responder in a car, and three ambulance crews to the scene.
"We treated two adults, and a girl who suffered a head injury. She was taken to St Mary's Hospital [in Paddington] as a priority."
