Poppy Appeal collector Frank Underhill was not at his usual spot in the station in Victoria Road on November 7.

His post was taken over by Ruislip Manor estate agent Bradley & Co whilst Mr Underhill attended the Field of Remembrance Service at Westminster Abbey.

Mr Underhill, a committee member of the Eastcote Branch of the Royal British Legion, was there to meet and greet Prince Harry and his grandfather Prince Philip on behalf of the Royal Corps of Signals Association. Their Royal Highnesses were very interested to see Mr Underhill's grandfather's WW1 poppy.

He collects for the Poppy Appeal at Ruislip Manor station every year in the lead up to Remembrance Day.
