Police have launched a murder investigation after a man was stabbed in Northolt on Saturday (March 12) and later died.

Met police were called to reports of an assault shortly before 1am at an address in Hotspur Road, Northolt, Ealing .

Officers attended and a 25-year-old man was taken by London Ambulance Service (LAS) to a central London hospital suffering from stab injuries.

He was pronounced dead on Wednesday (March 16) and the next of kin have been informed.

A 21-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm and has been bailed to a date in April.
