The operator of Northolt Leisure Centre in Ealing has been crowned Facility Operator of the Year for the fifth year running.

Everyone Active, which also runs the newly refurbished Perivale Park Athletics Track, scooped first prize at the annual ASA Swimtastic Awards on November 14.

The operators were given the prize, in particular, based on their efforts to offer kids swimming lessons at Northolt Leisure Centre.

Councillor Bassam Mahfouz, cabinet member for transport, environment and leisure, said: "In Ealing, we want our leisure and sports facilities to be amongst the best in the country so it's great to see that Everyone Active have been recognised by the ASA with this award.

"Swimming is a vital skill as well as being great for leisure and keeping fit, so I'd encourage residents to dive in and experience what our facilities have to offer."

Group swim development manager at Everyone Active, Jacqui Tilman, said: "We are thrilled to have won this prestigious award for the fifth time.

"We are committed to improving the health and wellbeing of all our communities and our swimming programme is a huge part of this."
