Police have arrested a man and launched a murder investigation after a woman was found dead at an Ealing home.
According to Met police , officers were called at 4.20pm on Wednesday (December 2) to a property on Eaton Rise following concerns over the welfare of a woman.
The force found the body of the woman in her 40s, and she was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police added that a 49-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of murder and is now in police custody.
The next of kin have been made aware and, although formal identification has not yet taken place.
A post-mortem examination will take place in due course.
