An iconic bakery and coffee brand has opened for the first time in the UK.

The grand opening of Dunkin' Donuts, in St Anns Road, Harrow, on Tuesday puts Harrow on the map as they bring their American-style snacks and drinks to the borough before anywhere else in the country.

"We're excited to celebrate the grand opening of our first Dunkin' Donuts location in the UK," Jim Johnstone, general manager of the brand in the UK said.

"Out restaurant in Harrow will offer a delicious range of high-quality beverages, sandwiches and baked goods served all day."

Founded in 1950, the brand has dominated the American market and is now looking to expand in the UK.

Neil Patel, Harrow store franchisee, said: "We can't wait to serve our guests in Harrow's Dunkin' Donuts' famous line up of beverages and snacks to keep them going throughout the day. We look forward to becoming an integral part of the local community and our guests' daily routines."
