A charity kicked off their festive fundraising with a memorable vintage experience.
FOUND, a second hand shop based in Shaftesbury Circle, West Harrow, that sells a wide selection of clothes, books, ornaments to generate proceeds to support the most vulnerable people in the borough, held its first of four Christmas events with a vintage festive fayre on Saturday.
Anne Nixson, a trustee and volunteer at FOUND who has been involved since the charity opened 18 months ago, said: “It was a really lovely event and we had one of our busiest ever days.
“It was great to see a lot of new visitors as well as some of our regulars.”
Each Saturday until Christmas, FOUND will continue to bring festive cheer to their store including their Christmas Crooners sing-a-long event this coming Saturday, December 7.
A Christmas Crafts event will be held on December 14, and on December 21 they will be holding a question and answer panel with experts present on everything from science to law and religion.
The shop was started by members of the congregation of Christ Church Roxeth in Roxeth Hill, South Harrow.
